This trail with cultural background leads you on the sunny plateau of the mountains, the „GURINA“. The outstanding position and the ore resources have led to this area being settled in the bronze age. It lasted until the end of the ancient world. The temple, a sacrifice-place dating back to the pre-Christian time, walls and other records bear witness of a immersed town. 2 kilometres to the East you find a former cult site. On a four part wall installation is the Church of St. Helena. In front of the church is a huge hill that is shrouded in mystery.
For nordic hill walking is the Gurina area from the church St. Helena to the farmers in Rüben, Stollwith und Höflich a particular challenge. The marking in the wood is done with yellow flashes.

Walking on this trail you come across a lot of waters which have their origin in the alps or supplied from groundwater (Lauenbach). The bridge over the Gail leads the way to the meadow of Nölbling. The nature in this meadow is in the rough, the natural cycles can develop without disturbance. It is one of the last conserved meadows in the Gail valley. The beck of Nölbling, the biggest water in the meadow, has created three monuments: in its origin the lake Zollner, in the middle reaches the cascades and last but not least the waterfalls of Nölbling.
For the nordic hill walking is the following enlargement of this trail perfect - rift of Nölbling – Gratzhof – Weidenburg.
The marking in the wood is done with yellow pales.

This trail leads through a small meadow path which runs parallel to the river Gail. As soon as the path leaves the bank of the river, the melody of the running water falls silent and the singing of the birth announces the forest track. You pass some glades where you see the church of St. Daniel from afar. According to historians the present church is the fifth church that is built on this place. It history of the church dates back to the beginning of the 9th century. You also pass a little lake in the woods near the train station of St. Daniel.
