Cultural holidays in Carinthia
At the intersection of 3 cultures you enter historical ground
Archaeological adventure – visitthe celtic-latin archeological excavation at the Gurina near Dellach. The church at the Wieserberg with romanic frescos and the parish-church of St. Daniel are worth visiting. The church of St. Daniel ist already mentioned in the travelogue of Paolo Santonino.
The Gail valley is also the culinary corner of Carinthia. Our sister respectively sister-in-law Sissy Sonnleitner, Herwig Ertl, the cultural hosts of the tavern “Grünwald” and the bio-cooperation St. Daniel are working hard to present culinary highlights to the guest of the Gail valley.
The due world wars have left their marks – in Kötschach-Mauthen you find a museum on this task and at the Plöckenpass an open air museum bears witness.
Small galleries, the “Presswerk” in Mauthen and gallery of the famous painters of the “Nötscher Kreis” are a pleasure to visit. Images and art is also shown in our house.
The Biohotel Daberer is no place for guests in a hurry. We cultivate the culture of holidays – relax, take your time a find harmony with yourself.
Our staff and we, the family Daberer, try to even increase the beauty of this wonderful place. We would be pleased to welcome you in our hotel.
